In another bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, almond milk, applesauce, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined.
Fold in the chopped nuts and dried fruit.
Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
