Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Slice the steak into roughly 2-inch pieces and place them in a mixing bowl. Let the steak come to room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine your homemade Cajun seasoning blend and toss it with the steak pieces until well-coated.
  3. Place a large, heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat until it starts to smoke lightly—about 3 minutes.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the hot skillet. Carefully place half of the seasoned steak bites in the skillet and sear for 2 minutes without moving them, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Set the first batch aside and repeat the process with the remaining tablespoon of oil and the leftover seasoned steak.
  6. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the butter to the hot skillet. Let the butter melt gradually while stirring to incorporate any browned bits.
  7. Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic to the skillet, stirring until fragrant—about 30 seconds.
  8. Turn off the heat and return all cooked steak bites to the skillet, stirring to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Garnish with minced parsley before serving.
