Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

  1. Preheat your campfire or grill to medium heat. If using a grill, make sure to use a grill-safe stick or skewer.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Brush each triangle with melted butter, then sprinkle a generous amount of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the dough.
  5. Starting from the wide end, roll up each triangle tightly into a spiral shape.
  6. Carefully skewer each roll-up onto a stick or skewer, leaving some space between each roll.
  7. Place the skewers over the campfire or grill, cooking for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. While the roll-ups are cooking, prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
  9. Once the roll-ups are done, remove them from the heat and drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon roll-ups.

  • For a fun twist, try adding mini chocolate chips or chopped nuts to the cinnamon-sugar mixture before rolling up the dough.
  • You can also substitute the glaze with a cream cheese frosting for a richer flavor.
