Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add diced onion and celery, sautéing for 3-4 minutes until soft.
  3. Sprinkle ¼ cup of all-purpose flour over the sautéed vegetables, stirring for 1-2 minutes to form a roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in 2 cups of seafood broth and 1 cup of heavy cream, stirring for 3-4 minutes until thick.
