Step-by-Step Instructions for Cheese Bread
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and any dried herbs. Whisk together until well blended.
  3. Gently fold in the shredded cheese until well coated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil or melted butter, and the large beaten egg until smooth.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined; do not overmix.
  6. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray, or line it with parchment paper.
