  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano for earthy flavor.

  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed Use more if you love garlic.
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil to enrich texture.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Grease a standard loaf pan lightly with butter or cooking spray.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine fresh rosemary, fresh parsley, dried oregano, dried thyme, crushed garlic, and olive oil to make the herb mixture.
  4. In another large bowl, whisk together plain flour, baking soda, and cooking salt until well blended.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, yogurt, and eggs until smooth, then add melted unsalted butter.
  6. Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. Pour a third of your batter into the prepared loaf pan, layer with herb mixture and cheese, repeating twice more.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, then cover with foil and bake for another 20 minutes.
  9. Once baked, let the loaf cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
