  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
For the Topping
  • 1 cup bread crumbs or crushed crackers
  • 1/4 cup green onions or chives optional for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and dice the potatoes, then boil in a large pot until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well.
  3. Mash the drained potatoes in a mixing bowl, then mix in the butter, heavy cream, and cheeses until smooth.
  4. Stir in the spices to the mashed potato mixture and mix thoroughly.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
  6. Top with breadcrumbs and extra cheese for crunch.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving and garnish with green onions or chives.
