- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. 
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, salt, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon until well combined. 
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. 
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay. 
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. 
- In a small bowl, combine the 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon for the topping. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter. 
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. 
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
