- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Drain canned green beans or blanch fresh green beans in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then set aside.
- Cook chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 6–8 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, then add brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.
- In the baking dish, place the green beans and pour the glaze over them, topping with crumbled bacon.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and slightly thickened.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm as a side dish.
