Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add sliced andouille sausage and cook for 6-8 minutes until browned.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté for about 5 minutes.
  4. Incorporate butter and allow to melt, then add all-purpose flour for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle in Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, stir for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in chicken broth while stirring, bring to a simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for another 3-5 minutes on low heat.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or hot sauce if needed.
  9. Ladle the gravy over biscuits, rice, or grits, and serve warm.
