- In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 6-8 minutes, breaking apart until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Add the chopped onion to the pot and sauté for 3-4 minutes until soft and translucent.
- Stir in the black beans, corn, tomatoes with green chiles, green chiles, and taco seasoning. Add beef broth and mix well.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Ladle out 2-3 scoops of broth into a bowl, mix with cream cheese until smooth, and return to the pot.
- Add heavy cream to the pot, stirring gently to combine.
- Ladle into bowls and garnish with shredded cheese, green onions, or jalapeños.
