Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by patting the boneless, skinless chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper for flavor. Set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the freshly grated Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir until evenly blended.
  3. Lightly mist the chicken breasts with olive oil spray. Dredge each piece in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, ensuring full coating.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes. Arrange the coated chicken breasts in a single layer in the fryer basket.
  5. Cook the chicken in the air fryer for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through. The chicken is ready when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove the chicken from the basket and allow it to rest for 5 minutes. Serve with a fresh salad or alongside baked garlic Parmesan potato wedges.
