  • 1/4 cup Milk Use almond milk for dairy-free.
  • 2 cups Canola Oil or Peanut Oil For frying, heat to 350°F.

  • 1/2 cup Carrot & Cilantro Fresh garnishes.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat the oil in a deep skillet to 350°F over medium-high heat.
  2. Cut the chicken into uniform bite-sized pieces, about 1 inch each.
  3. In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Whisk together the egg, milk, and a pinch of salt and pepper in another bowl.
  5. Coat each chicken piece in the flour mixture, then dip in egg wash, and return to flour for a second coating.
  6. Fry coated chicken pieces in oil in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Drain fried bites on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
  8. Toss warm chicken bites in sweet chili sauce and garnish with sesame seeds, carrots, and cilantro.
