Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Step 1: Sear the Beef. Begin by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a splash of oil and sear the beef chuck roast for about 3-4 minutes on each side until it develops a rich brown crust.
  2. Step 2: Add to Crockpot. Transfer the browned beef to your Crockpot. Pour in the beef broth, followed by the Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, and sliced onions.
  3. Step 3: Slow Cook. Cover the Crockpot and set it to low for 8 hours, or high for 4-5 hours.
  4. Step 4: Shred the Beef. Once cooked, carefully remove the beef from the Crockpot and shred it into bite-sized pieces before returning it to the flavorful juices.
