  • 4 medium Potatoes thinly sliced
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup can substitute with cream of chicken
  • 1 cup Milk can use non-dairy alternative
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 cup Carrots chopped
  • 1 cup Peas
  • 1 cup Corn
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers chopped

Cooking Steps
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  2. Thinly slice potatoes into 1/8-inch rounds and layer half in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Layer half of the beef mixture followed by half of the cheese over the potatoes. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour mixture over the layers.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, until potatoes are tender.
  6. In the last 15 minutes of cooking, sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  7. Serve warm, optionally garnish with parsley or chives.
