  • 1/2 cup Feta Cheese Crumbled, can substitute with goat cheese
  • 1/3 cup Walnuts Chopped, can substitute with sunflower or pumpkin seeds
For the Dressing
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Glaze Can mix balsamic vinegar with honey
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil Can use any light oil
  • to taste Salt Essential for flavor
  • to taste Pepper Essential for flavor

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash strawberries and slice them evenly into ¼-inch thick pieces.
  2. Slice the seedless cucumber into thin rounds, approximately ⅛-inch thick.
  3. Thinly slice a small red onion, adjusting the quantity to taste.
  4. In a mixing bowl, layer strawberries, cucumber, and red onion.
  5. Finely chop fresh mint and basil leaves, then sprinkle over the layered ingredients.
  6. Gently toss the salad to mix the ingredients without crushing the strawberries.
  7. Sprinkle crumbled feta and chopped walnuts on top.
  8. Drizzle the balsamic glaze and olive oil over the salad.
  9. Season with salt and pepper, adjusting to taste.
  10. Toss the salad gently and refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
