Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a food processor, add mayonnaise, fresh basil leaves, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Pulse until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  2. If using manual method, finely mince basil and garlic. Combine in a mixing bowl with mayonnaise, lemon juice, and salt. Whisk vigorously for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. After chilling, stir and adjust seasoning before serving.
