Preparation
- In a food processor, add mayonnaise, fresh basil leaves, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Pulse until smooth, about 30 seconds.
- If using manual method, finely mince basil and garlic. Combine in a mixing bowl with mayonnaise, lemon juice, and salt. Whisk vigorously for 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- After chilling, stir and adjust seasoning before serving.
