Ingredients
  

Sandwich Base
  • 1 medium Cucumber thick slices
  • 8 pieces Cocktail Sticks
Tree Layers
  • 4 slices Sliced Bread any type
  • 6 slices Ham thinly sliced
  • 4 slices Cheese for cutting into shapes
Decorations
  • 1 medium Cherry Tomato halved
  • 1 medium Red Pepper for star shape
  • 2 leaves Lettuce any leafy variety

  • Cocktail sticks

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash and slice cucumber thickly, approx. 1 inch. Cut out the center of one slice with a star cookie cutter.
  2. Halve the cherry tomato and skewer one half onto a cocktail stick. Add a piece of rolled lettuce on top.
  3. Use a larger star cookie cutter to create star shapes from the sliced bread. Set them aside.
  4. Cut the ham into star shapes using the same cutter. You need at least three.
  5. Cut out two star shapes from the sliced cheese.
  6. Assemble by stacking the bread star first, then ham stars followed by cheese stars on the cocktail stick.
  7. Place the assembled stack on the cucumber slice base.
  8. Cut a small piece of red pepper into a star shape and place it on top of the stack.
