Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt.
  3. Cut cold butter into small cubes and work it into the dry mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  5. Slice fresh strawberries and evenly distribute them over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the strawberries.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let cool completely on a wire rack, then slice into bars.
