Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt.
- Cut cold butter into small cubes and work it into the dry mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- Slice fresh strawberries and evenly distribute them over the crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the strawberries.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack, then slice into bars.
