  • 1 box Strawberry Jell-O Mix Can substitute with raspberry.
  • 1 cup Hot Water Must be steaming.
  • 0.5 cup Cold Water Fruit juice can be a substitute.
  • 1 box Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix Make sure it's instant.
For the Fluff
  • 1 container Whipped Topping Homemade whipped cream can be used.
  • 2 cups Mini Marshmallows Fruit-flavored marshmallows can be used.
For the Freshness
  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries Use ripe, fragrant berries; frozen works too.
  • 1 can Crushed Pineapple Ensure well-drained.

Method
 

Making the Dessert
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the strawberry Jell-O mix and 1 cup of hot water until fully dissolved, which should take about 2-3 minutes. Once dissolved, add ½ cup of cold water and stir well. Cover and refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes until slightly thickened.
  2. After the Jell-O has thickened, remove from the refrigerator and stir in the instant vanilla pudding mix until smooth, about 2-3 minutes. Refrigerate for another 30 minutes to allow it to set.
  3. Once the pudding mixture is set, gently fold in the whipped topping using a spatula until the mixture is smooth and airy.
  4. Fold in the sliced fresh strawberries, drained crushed pineapple, and mini marshmallows until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl or individual cups, cover tightly, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to meld the flavors and firm up.
  6. Once chilled, serve in individual dishes or a large platter. Garnish with additional fresh strawberries if desired.
