  • 1 liter Flavored Soda like ginger ale or lemon-lime
  • 1 cup Milk whole or low-fat
For the Ice Cream
  • 4 scoops Vanilla or Peppermint Ice Cream slightly softened
For the Garnish
  • 1/2 cup Crushed Peppermint Candy or chocolate shavings
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream for topping

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Select a big punch bowl or large-serving beverage jar and ensure it's clean.
  2. Pour your chosen flavored soda into the bowl, then add the milk and stir gently for about 30 seconds.
  3. Using a ladle, pour the mixed drink into individual serving glasses, filling them about three-quarters full.
  4. Scoop one generous scoop of ice cream into each glass on top of the drink mixture.
  5. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candy over each float for garnish.
  6. Serve each glass with a small spoon and a straw.
