- In a mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Take two thick slices of your chosen bread and spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on one side of each slice.
- Top one slice with freshly sliced strawberries and a layer of strawberry jam, then place the other slice on top.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs and milk until fully combined.
- One by one, dip each assembled sandwich into the egg and milk mixture, allowing it to soak for about 10-15 seconds on each side.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter. Place the coated sandwiches in the skillet, frying for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
