- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. 
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Whisk together until well mixed. 
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed. 
- Pour in the beer and mix until just combined. The batter will be thick and slightly lumpy; do not overmix. 
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. 
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the batter. 
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. 
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. 
- If desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
