Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, grated Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder until well mixed.
  2. Spread the butter mixture generously on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and place one slice of the buttered bread, buttered side down.
  4. Layer your chosen cheese, turkey deli meats, and additional cheese if desired.
  5. Carefully place another slice of buttered bread on top, buttered side up, and press down slightly.
  6. Cook for 5-6 minutes until the bottom is golden brown, then flip the sandwich.
  7. Toast on the other side for another 5-6 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  8. While toasting, mix mayonnaise, red grape juice vinegar, remaining Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
  9. Fold shredded iceberg lettuce, red onion, and banana peppers into the dressing mixture.
  10. Cut the sandwich in half and serve it alongside the fresh grinder salad mixture.
