  • 1/2 cup water adjust as needed for consistency
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey/no-sugar sweetener (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional, for flavor enhancement

Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare the cherries by rinsing, removing stems, and pitting if fresh. For frozen cherries, thaw for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Blend cherries with water and lemon juice in a high-speed blender until smooth for about 30-45 seconds.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if needed, then blend for another 20 seconds after adding sweetener.
  4. Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and freeze for a minimum of 24 hours.
  5. Process in the Ninja Creami using the 'Sorbet' function for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  6. Check the consistency; if crumbly, use the 'Mix-In' function and reprocess for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Scoop the sorbet into bowls and serve immediately or store in the freezer.
