Preparation Steps
- Prepare the cherries by rinsing, removing stems, and pitting if fresh. For frozen cherries, thaw for 10-15 minutes.
- Blend cherries with water and lemon juice in a high-speed blender until smooth for about 30-45 seconds.
- Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if needed, then blend for another 20 seconds after adding sweetener.
- Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container and freeze for a minimum of 24 hours.
- Process in the Ninja Creami using the 'Sorbet' function for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
- Check the consistency; if crumbly, use the 'Mix-In' function and reprocess for 1-2 minutes.
- Scoop the sorbet into bowls and serve immediately or store in the freezer.
