Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  2. Transfer the browned beef to a crock pot. Layer in the diced potatoes, celery, onion, beans, and whole kernel corn.
  3. Pour in the tomato soup and diced tomatoes, then mix gently to combine.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper over the mixture. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  5. Check the stew's consistency, and stir in water or broth if it’s too thick. Serve warm, optionally garnished with fresh herbs.
  6. Allow to cool before transferring leftovers to airtight containers; can be refrigerated for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
