  2. Core and slice your apples into quarters. You may peel them for a smoother texture.
  3. Blend the apple slices until smooth and pureed, achieving a thick, apple sauce-like consistency.
  4. Add cinnamon and the optional sweetener to the blended mixture and blend until well combined.
  5. Line dehydrator trays or baking sheets with parchment paper. Spread the apple mixture evenly.
  6. Place trays in the dehydrator or oven and let the mixture dry for 12 to 14 hours until pliable.
  7. Once dehydrated, let the fruit leather cool before cutting into strips with kitchen scissors.
  8. Store in airtight containers in a cool, dry place for up to six months.
