For the Salmon
  • 4 fillets Salmon Use fresh or thawed frozen salmon.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Essential for seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Freshly cracked black.
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning Adjust according to spice preference.
For the Cajun Butter
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Unsalted preferred.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Can substitute with maple syrup.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed preferred.
Optional Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley Chopped, for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
  2. Melt unsalted butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until bubbling. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in honey and lemon juice, allowing to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour half of the honey Cajun butter over the seasoned salmon fillets, marinate for a few minutes.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and cook the salmon fillets skin-side down for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and pour remaining butter over the top, cooking for another 4-5 minutes.
  5. Transfer to a serving platter, drizzle with remaining sauce, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
