  • 2 oz shredded Parmesan, divided Substitute with any hard cheese like Pecorino.
  • 1 can (6 oz) pitted medium black olives, halved or sliced Can swap for green olives if desired.
  • 1 can (6 oz) pitted green olives, halved or sliced Optional to increase/decrease based on preference.
  • to taste Kosher salt Adjust based on the saltiness of olives.
  • to taste Fresh cracked pepper Optional as per taste preference.
  • for garnish Fresh parsley Optional.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the room-temperature sour cream, cream cheese, and minced garlic. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  3. Fold in half of the shredded mozzarella and half of the Parmesan.
  4. Gently fold in the sliced black and green olives.
  5. Transfer the olive mixture to a greased 9x9 baking dish or a medium cast iron skillet.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella and Parmesan over the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges start bubbling and the top turns golden brown.
  8. Broil for an additional 1-2 minutes for a perfect finish.
  9. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve warm.
