Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside for 30 minutes. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into a 12-inch round.
- Transfer the rolled dough onto a pizza peel or floured baking sheet. Spread ½ cup of tomato sauce over it, leaving a ½-inch border. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella evenly on top. Arrange 20-25 slices of pepperoni and dollop ¼ cup of ricotta around the pizza.
- Slide the assembled pizza onto the preheated stone or sheet. Bake for 8-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Drizzle 1-2 tablespoons of hot honey over the pizza as soon as it comes out of the oven. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and red pepper flakes. Slice and serve immediately.
