Step-by-Step Instructions for Easy Homemade Pretzel Rolls
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water with sugar and yeast. Stir and let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Slowly incorporate flour and salt. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
  4. Punch down the dough, divide into 12 pieces, and shape into smooth balls.
  5. Cover rolls and let rest for 30 minutes.
