Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by greasing it lightly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Evenly spread the strawberry pie filling across the bottom of your prepared baking dish. Layer fresh, sliced strawberries on top.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture directly over the strawberries, spreading it evenly.
  5. In another bowl, mix the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and milk until just combined. Pour over the cream cheese layer.
  6. If using cinnamon, sprinkle it lightly over the cake mix layer.
