Rolling and Cutting
  1. Once chilled, remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll it to a thickness of about ½-inch on a lightly floured surface.
  2. Use cookie cutters to cut out festive shapes and transfer them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving 2 inches of space between each cookie.
Jam Application
  1. Gently coat the top of each cookie with a thin layer of raspberry jam, ensuring to leave a little space around the edges.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for approximately 10-12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
Cooling
  1. Allow the cookies to rest on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Let them cool completely before decorating or packaging.
Decorating (Optional)
  1. Sprinkle sparkling sugar over the cookies while they are still slightly warm for a festive touch.
