Method
 

Baking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, milk, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt, stirring gently.
  3. Fold in the blueberries carefully to avoid breaking them.
  4. Mix together the flour, cinnamon, and sugar for the topping, then cut in the butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the baking dish, sprinkle half of the topping, then add remaining batter and finish with the rest of the topping.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, then slice and serve.
