Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Grease the inside of a 4-quart slow cooker with non-stick spray.
  2. Layer 1/3 of the frozen hash browns at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Sprinkle 1/3 of the precooked ham or bacon, followed by 1/3 of the diced onion and green pepper. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle 1/3 of the medium cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Repeat the layering process two more times with remaining ingredients.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and whole milk until fully blended.
  7. Pour the egg and milk mixture over the layered ingredients in the slow cooker.
  8. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours.
