Ingredients
  

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and peanut butter together, stirring until smooth.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows to the saucepan and continue to stir until they are completely melted and the mixture is well combined.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  4. Gradually add the Rice Krispies cereal to the mixture, stirring until all the cereal is evenly coated.
  5. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray. Pour the mixture into the dish and press it down evenly with a spatula or your hands.
  6. Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting them into squares.
