Method
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and peanut butter together, stirring until smooth.
- Add the mini marshmallows to the saucepan and continue to stir until they are completely melted and the mixture is well combined.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Gradually add the Rice Krispies cereal to the mixture, stirring until all the cereal is evenly coated.
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray. Pour the mixture into the dish and press it down evenly with a spatula or your hands.
- Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting them into squares.

Notes
- For a chocolate twist, drizzle melted chocolate over the top before cooling.
- You can also substitute the Rice Krispies with Cocoa Krispies for a chocolate-flavored treat.
