- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the very ripe bananas in a medium mixing bowl until smooth, leaving a few small lumps for texture.
- Stir in the smooth peanut butter or almond butter until blended with the mashed bananas. Then add the protein powder and cocoa powder; mix until smooth.
- Set out 8 silicone baking cups in a muffin tin and divide the brownie batter among the cups, filling each about three-quarters full.
- If desired, sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top of the batter in each cup.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Tops should appear set and firm.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the cups for 15–20 minutes before popping them out.
