Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly coat a 9-inch pie dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter until completely liquid, about 30-45 seconds.
  3. Whisk in the large egg, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Sift in the all-purpose flour and salt, stirring until combined. Spread into prepared pie dish.
  5. Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes until golden brown at the edges.
  6. Immediately sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly over the top.
  7. Layer with sweetened shredded coconut, allowing warm crust to slightly melt the chocolate.
  8. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk and salted caramel sauce evenly over the top.
  9. Return pie to the oven and bake for an additional 25 minutes until center is set.
  10. Allow the pie to cool on a wire rack for at least 4 hours before slicing.
  11. Melt any remaining chocolate and drizzle it over the top before serving.
