Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 pound of ground beef and cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Stir in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of chili flakes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  2. Fill a large shallow dish with warm water. Dip each rice paper wrapper into the water for 10–15 seconds until soft. Lay the soaked rice paper flat on a clean, damp kitchen towel.
  3. Place a fresh basil leaf at the bottom center of the rice paper wrapper. Spoon a small portion of the beef mixture onto the basil, followed by thin slices of your chosen vegetables. Fold the sides over, tuck the bottom up, and roll tightly.
  4. Once all rolls are assembled, arrange them on a serving platter and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
