Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the acorn squash in half lengthwise and scoop out seeds.
- In a mixing bowl, combine diced apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Stuff the apple mixture into each squash half.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes covered with foil.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
- Let the stuffed squash rest for 10 minutes before serving.
