Preparation Steps

  3. Add the softened butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.

  5. Dust a clean surface with flour and roll out the dough to about 1/8-inch thick.
  6. Cut the rolled dough into desired shapes using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  7. Transfer the cut shapes to the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
  8. Lightly sprinkle sea salt on top of each cracker if desired.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, checking frequently around the 15-minute mark until edges are golden brown.
  10. Remove from oven and let cool for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
