- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. 
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant. 
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. 
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fully cooked through. 
- Stir in the lemon juice and zest, mixing well to combine. 
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley. 
- Serve immediately over cooked rice or with crusty bread to soak up the delicious garlic butter sauce.
