Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  3. In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Mix in vanilla extract and egg until combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing on low until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips, coconut flakes, and sliced almonds.
  7. Scoop 1.5 tablespoons of dough per cookie onto prepared sheets, leaving space between cookies.
  8. Bake for 9-12 minutes until edges are golden brown; centers should be slightly underdone.
  9. Remove from the oven and cool on baking sheets for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
