Preparation Steps
- Preheat your kitchen to a comfortable setting. Slice the pitted medjool dates lengthwise and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Gently press down on each date to flatten them to about half an inch thick.
- Spread a generous layer of peanut butter over each smashed date.
- Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-30 second intervals, stirring to prevent burning. Drizzle melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer.
- Chill in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
- Before serving, sprinkle flaky salt over the chocolate layer.
