Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, chocolate fudge pudding mix, sour cream, vegetable oil, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Pour batter into prepared cake pan and bake for 28-32 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Once baked, cool for 30 minutes. Poke holes all over the top with a wooden spoon.
  5. Whisk together chocolate instant pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes until thick, then pour over the cake.
  6. Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and chocolate pudding mix until fluffy for frosting.
  7. Spread frosting over pudding layer, smoothing the surface.
  8. Crush Oreo cookies and sprinkle over frosting, insert Milano cookies as tombstones, and add decorations as desired.
  9. Slice and serve the cake at your Halloween gathering, enjoying a moist, chocolatey treat.
