  • 1/4 cup Water for slurry

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Mix the Sauce: Combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, crushed pineapple, minced garlic, ground ginger, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Coat the Chicken: Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  4. Slow Cook the Chicken: Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Separate the Chicken: Remove chicken from the slow cooker once tender.
  6. Thicken the Sauce: Whisk together cornstarch and water, then stir into the bubbling sauce and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Return the Chicken: Add the chicken back into the slow cooker and stir to coat in the thickened sauce.
  8. Shred the Chicken: Use two forks to shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  9. Serve and Garnish: Serve over rice or noodles and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
