- Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a stand mixer for 2 minutes until fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well, then add milk.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12 to 14 minutes until edges are golden, rotating halfway through.
