  • 1 Tbsp Extra-Virgin Olive Oil can substitute with any neutral oil
  • 8 oz Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar Cheese any sharp cheddar can be used
  • 8 oz Cabot Cream Cheese Spread consider regular or vegan cream cheese for alternatives
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder fresh minced garlic can also work well
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt can use sea salt or table salt as well
Optional Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Herbs like chives or cilantro for added flavor
  • ¼ cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes great for a different twist

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by halving the jalapeños and removing the seeds and ribs for a milder flavor. Coat them generously with extra-virgin olive oil.
  2. Place the prepared jalapeños cut-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Broil them for 4-5 minutes or until the skins blister.
  3. Transfer the jalapeños to a glass bowl and cover tightly with plastic wrap for about 15 minutes.
  4. Finely dice the roasted jalapeños and mix them in a bowl with cheddar, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
